a small, co-ed day school and day or sleep away summer camp program specializing in helping young learners with language-based learning and attention difficulties, to expand the school’s brand presence. Due to understaffing and a restricted marketing budget, it was essential for any changes or solutions made to Oakland School’s brand to be evergreen and able to be maintained by their small, in-house, administrative team.
Alongside her team, Hailey directed, designed, and managed content across brand touchpoints including the website, print and digital advertising, social media, email, and in-person events. The support of these key points of audience interaction not only increased Oakland School’s brand awareness but expanded the school’s reach and engagement as well.

Upper School Branding
Hailey developed the Oakland Upper School branding in response to an increase in Oakland’s eighth grade graduating class and the consequent demand for continued learning at Oakland School. The Upper School brand builds off the existing foundation of the Oakland School brand while leaving room for further differentiation as the upper school and associated programs continue to grow in the years to come.
Style Guides
To ensure visual and verbal coherence across all communication channels, materials, and platforms, Hailey developed style guides for Oakland School, Oakland Upper School, and Summer Camp at Oakland School.
Event Support
Hermes Creative Awards 2024 Gold Award Winner
In the fall of 2023, Oakland School hosted its first annual Fall Fest. Hailey supported the event by designing social media posts for promotion before the event and merchandise to sell in-person on the day of the event. Additionally, Hailey designed take away collateral aimed at encouraging event attendees to submit personal testimonials about their experience with Oakland School. Each collateral piece included a QR code that directed visitors to a webpage featuring a form with testimonial prompts, as well as an opportunity to submit content from the event for Oakland’s future marketing purposes.
Direct Mailers
In the winter of 2022, Hailey orchestrated a two-part direct mailer campaign aimed at capturing lookalike audiences, with the objective of attracting new students and campers to Oakland School.
Video Production
Hailey employed storytelling to craft a dynamic introduction to Oakland School through two videos, extending a warm welcome to those unfamiliar with the school, and inviting them to learn more. In less than five minutes each, the videos provide essential information regarding Oakland’s winter day, summer day, and associated programs. The videos capture the magic of Oakland’s community and create a compelling invitation to prospective students to discover and experience Oakland School.

Yard Signs
In the promotion of Oakland School’s growing ninth grade, Hailey designed two different yard signs for the Oakland School community. The signs prioritize legibility and messaging while showcasing Oakland School and Upper School’s distinctive brand identity for increased awareness.
